Under the supervision and support of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani
The College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, Department of Plastic Arts, held an art exhibition for the productions of the second phase, Division A, entitled “Promising Fingers” under the supervision of M. Mufid Awwad Muslim
The exhibition, which was held in the Great Exhibition Hall at the College of Fine Arts, included more than 35 works of art within the lesson of construction using oil colors. Their experiences dealt with many topics, including the popular heritage related to the authentic Iraqi customs and traditions, professions and handicrafts, the visual atmosphere of Al-Shanashil and landscapes.

The exhibition was attended by Dr. Hussein Al-Eidani, President of the Syndicate of Iraqi Academics in Basra, Head of the Department of Plastic Arts, Dr. Asma Samir, and a group of professors and students of the College of Fine Arts.
