The College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, in partnership with Al-Marikh Company, held the first annual festival for the art of handicrafts and the launch of the Mars Stores application
The festival, which was held in the courtyard of the Deanship of the Faculty of Fine Arts, included a display of works and products of the art of handicrafts
The festival was inaugurated by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, a delegation from Al-Marikh Company, and a group of professors and students of the College of Fine Arts.
For his part, Al-Kinani said that this initiative is to support the youth segment of handicrafts through the application of Mars Stores to market and promote their work globally, not locally, and the application is free and is the first of its kind in Iraq
He added that the College of Fine Arts supports creativity and contains the artistically produced youth energies
