The College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, Department of Fine Arts, held a comprehensive exhibition of the products of the third stage students (the morning study) entitled Free Ideas and Applications. The exhibition is an experiment in the use of all artistic techniques, such as the aesthetic spirit and employment, that is, artworks can be used in daily life as an element that carries a distinct luxury character.The exhibition aims to highlight the artistic productions of the morning students, and it is the summary of a joint effort by the professors supervising the exhibition, Prof. Tahrir Ali, Prof. Asma Samir, and Prof. Amani Kazem.
In this exhibition, the students seek to show a great deal of aesthetic energies that embroider their productions in an academic manner that suits the aesthetic and artistic curriculum.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, and the exhibition was attended by Prof. Asmaa Samir, Head of the Department of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Amani Kazem and Eng. Abdel Halim Ahmed, Head of the Department of Plastic Arts, and a group of professors and students of the College of Fine Arts
