The College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, the Department of Plastic Arts, held an exhibition of joint drawing of the products of the first-year students. The exhibition, which was held in the Great Exhibition Hall in the College of Fine Arts, included more than 180 artworks, including lead, charcoal, ballpoint pens, one-color drawing boards, and watercolors. The topics varied from portrait and still life. And academic topics from reality and the Iraqi environment The exhibition aims to highlight the artistic outputs of students’ lessons during the academic year 2021-2022, and it is the summary of a joint effort by the supervising professors, M. Raed Hassan Shari, M. Zain Al-Abidin Qais and M. Firas Abdul-Jabbar Abdul, who provided the utmost care and follow-up in the management of the lesson. Academic and supervision of these student outputs from the first stages of preparing the idea until the stages of the final work.
