As part of the basra university delegation to Japan, The Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Basra University, Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani, is making preliminary understandings to sign memorandums of understanding with the Middle East Forum in Tokyo on cultural exchange between Iraq and Japan and the establishment of joint workshops to train students and gain experience. 
The meeting was attended by Dr. Dargham al-Ujdi, administrative deputy governor of Basra.
