The Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, received the Creativity Shield at the festival organized by the University of Basra to honor the creators in Iraq for the year 2022 and in various scientific, cultural, literary and poetic fields, with a presence marked by the diversity of social spectra from the north to the south of the country.

The festival, which was attended by the legal assistant governor, Hassan Al-Najjar, and the assistant president of the university for administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali acidi Diab, on behalf of the president of the university, aims to shed light on the various innovations, highlight them and honor them to be emulated and benefit from the experiences of the university.

During the opening ceremony, Diab welcomed the attendees and guests of Basra from the provinces, and indicated that Basra University supports creativity and innovators and adopts their projects in order to develop them in an optimal way and present them to the community to benefit from.
Diab added that with the presence of talented creators, our university has been able to top international and local rankings, and we have become an example to be followed at all levels inside and outside Iraq.
