The Dean of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, received the Shield of Creativity and Excellence from the Kazanzani Center in Basra Governorate.
This honor came in exchange for the College of Fine Arts’ winning the silver medal at the Awards Ceremony of the Asian Universities Summit in Japan recently.
The supervisor of the Kazanzani Cultural Council, Dr. Qusay Abdel Latif, stated that the council is always keen to honor distinguished personalities in the governorate, and that the development and clear advancement of the College of Fine Arts is nothing but a successful and distinguished imprint that counts for the Deanship of the College of Fine Arts represented by its Dean, Dr. Ali Al-Kinani.
Abdul Latif added that there will be cooperation and communication related to the cultural and artistic aspect in a way that enhances the scientific value between the council and the college in the future.
