The Continuing Education Division of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra held a workshop on the positive effects of caricature publications.
The workshop, which was moderated by M. M. Saja Yasser Hussein, and presented by M. Dr. Wasfi Faleh Obaid, included an explanation of the nature of caricature and its importance in the world, and an introduction to the most important caricature artists in Iraq and the newspapers interested in it.
The aim of the workshop is to familiarize the audience with this art and its transition from paper publishing to digital publishing, as well as the positive aspects related to publishing and addressing negative situations in society.
The seminar was very effective in terms of discussion by the lecturer and students.
