For the second day in a row, the Department of Art Education at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra continues its cinematic activities in cooperation with the Ammar Popular Film Festival in the Islamic Republic.

The teacher, M. Haider Jaafar Saadoun, said, "The screening for this day was for the movie 'The Minibus', which tells the story of the repressive, Saddamist Ba'athist regime's dealings with the visitors of Imam Abi Abdullah Al-Hussein (peace be upon him) during the dark period of rule.

Saadoun added, after the show was completed, the exhibition moved to hold a workshop with the students of the audio-visual department, in order to develop the students and enhance their creative abilities in the field of cinema.

The cinematic show continues at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, for tomorrow, Tuesday.
