The Council of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra held its fourth session for the academic year 2022-2023 on Wednesday 12-14-2022, where the council members welcomed the teacher, Dr. Wasfi Faleh, on the occasion of his assumption of the position of Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and Assistant Professor Hassanein Nawab, on the occasion of his assumption of the position of Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs and Assistant Professor Dr. Asaad Abdel-Reda for assuming the position of Head of the Department of Performing Arts. The Council also thanked and appreciated the efforts of Prof. Dr. Tahrir Ali, Assistant Professor Dr. Hazem Abdel-Meguid and Assistant Professor Dr. Hassanein Abdel-Wahhab for their efforts and giving during their tenure.We wish them continued success in their scientific career. The meeting touched on a number of items included in its agenda, including ministerial directives and instructions related to the updated university calendar for the academic year 2022-2023, and the need to adhere to its paragraphs and work according to it. It also touched on the directives of the university presidency and the deanship of the college and preparation for postgraduate exams.
The meeting reviewed educational and administrative matters that would enhance the scientific and service side in line with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the university presidency.
