Under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, the college hosted today, Monday, Professor Atsumu Okada, head of the Middle East Forum in Tokyo, where he gave a lecture on the role of art as being a universal language that is understood and its direct impact on all societies. During his tour and his viewing of the college's departments, Okada touched on the importance of Iraqi art and Iraqi civilization in the world, and his great admiration for the Iraqi shrine and Iraqi traditional songs.
