Under the auspices of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Dr. Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani
The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra held an artistic workshop for Arabic calligraphy within the activities of the second day of the third annual festival for the arts of Arabic calligraphy and one dimension. Arabic Calligraphy I researched the secrets of calligraphy, its aesthetics, types, and how to implement painting and decoration.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Ali Al-Kinani, said that this festival, in its third edition, is a wedding for calligraphers, as it attracted talents from all over the city and from various disciplines, to be a starting point for restoring the spirit of this art.
