The Division of Continuing Education in the College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, in cooperation with the Sector of the First Governorate Center / Primary Health Care Center, titled (Gender and Human Rights). The workshop, which was moderated by Dr. Alia Jabbar Suhim and Nadia Hashem Mustafa presented the topic of gender, in which the content of the symposium clarified gender-based violence. During the symposium, gender was defined and its impact on the building and development of society. Gender-based violence was defined, and its types, causes, and ways to eliminate it were defined because of its negative effects on communities
