Basra University and the Arabian Gulf Academy for Maritime Studies sign a memorandum of scientific cooperation

The University of Basra and the Arabian Gulf Academy for Maritime Studies signed a memorandum of joint scientific cooperation in several fields, which would develop education, training and expertise for both parties to benefit the university’s students and graduates and the public sector, which represents the greatest weight in the Iraqi economy. The agreement was signed by the university president, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, with President of the Academy, Rear Admiral Alaa Saber Hajem.

The two sides agreed to cooperate to enrich and contribute qualitative additions and exchange support in information and expertise in the scientific, technical, administrative and economic fields, as well as developing human resources and publishing joint research in a way that serves both parties and the public interest, as well as organizing a joint working group that adopts pioneering projects based on the latest digital technologies globally and their various applications in The Arabian Gulf Academy for Digital Maritime Studies project.
