
The president of Basra University, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, invited undergraduate students to register for the Higher Education Award competition for reading, which was launched by His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi.
His Excellency determined the value of the prize at one hundred million dinars, distributed to twenty winners by five million dinars for each student, and the prize is based on the competition to read the book (conditions of Renaissance) by the Arab thinker Malik bin Nabi.
Registration continues on the contest platform (https://awards.mohesr.gov.iq/ra until 2023/8/15, registered students take an electronic test in 2023/8/20 and the entry information of each student through his official university email so that they can participate in the exam, the material of which is based on the selected book exclusively.the competition is for students of primary studies at public and private universities for morning and evening study.
The ministry set the conditions for the competition, which stipulated that the Contestant must be an Iraqi national and not older than 30 years, as well as the contestants are subject to a public draw to choose twenty winners from the top hundred contestants in the prize exam, and the twenty winners are awarded a cash prize (five million dinars) for each winner.
In this context, the minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, invites university students to participate in this important cultural event in order to stimulate positive awareness and interaction with the reading of civilizational materials.
