The women's Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra participated in the central ceremony of the International Women's Day, organized by the women's Affairs Division at the University of Basra in the presence of the assistant rector for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali rushk and dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Assistant Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani .
 The women's Affairs Unit at our college participated in an art exhibition of the works of the Department of plastic arts under the supervision of two teachers, M.M. Nourse Hamid and M.The opening ceremony of the assistant president of the University of Basra, accompanied by the head of the Department of plastic arts, M. mayad Moussa.Dr. Raed Hassan Shri.
The head of the women's Empowerment unit at the College of Fine Arts, Mrs. Khadija Shoukry Faisal, was also honored by the head of the empowerment division for the outstanding achievements made by the unit during the tenure of the position of the Empowerment unit officer.
