The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, Department of Plastic Arts organized the personal exhibition of student Qutaiba al - Abed-the fourth stage entitled Dadai, which was opened by the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Abdul Sattar Abdul Thabet al-Baydani and attended by a group of professors, staff and students of the faculty.
The exhibition, which is the first of its kind at the University of Basra and Iraq in general, aims to experience virtual reality VR where all works can be viewed through a virtual gallery inside the application.
The exhibition included two sections, the first section includes a simple set of multi-raw art works such as sculpture, realistic paintings and various styles, and the other part contains a virtual exhibition presented in vr virtual reality technology, where they can be viewed by wearing VR glasses and seeing the artworks with high realism, which provides the viewer with the element of pleasure and thrill while watching the works.
It is worth mentioning that this exhibition is a graduation research for the student under the supervision of Professor Dr. Farid Khaled.
