Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Dr. Muhannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed. The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, division of Continuing Education, organized a seminar on the negative effects of wars on the child's psyche and how to treat it.
The seminar aimed to help the child understand himself better, strengthen confidence, expel fears and disorders, reduce conflicts, improve cognitive functions.
The seminar presented by the teacher Sawsan Mohammed in the Department of plastic arts included the topic of wars and their long-term psychological and physical effects on children and adults, as well as poverty, malnutrition, disability, economic decline, psychological and organic diseases.
