Under the auspices of the president of the University of Basra, the esteemed Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, the esteemed Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra educational guidance unit organized the festival of activities of the guidance week, which was considered a distinctive cultural and educational event.
The festival opened with a fragrant recitation of the wise male, followed by the playing of the national anthem in the presence of a wide audience of teaching staff and students. The dean's assistants delivered welcoming speeches in which they addressed the importance of educational guidance in developing a positive and supportive academic environment. The activities officer also gave a speech highlighting the efforts exerted by students and faculty to make this event a success.
The festival included a variety of creative segments, including a solo performance that amazed the attendees with the beauty of the performance, as well as short film screenings produced by students, addressing social and cultural issues in a distinctive artistic style. The festival also witnessed educational theatrical performances that showed the students ' talent and creativity in providing meaningful educational messages through the theater.
The festival concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the participating students and supervisory staff, stressing the importance of continuing to organize such events that contribute to creating a stimulating educational environment.
