
The examination committees at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra announced the start of the first semester exams for graduate students, according to the timings scheduled in the university calendar. These exams include students of the Departments of plastic and Performing Arts, where 25 students at the master's level and 9 students at the doctoral level participate in the exams in the Department of plastic arts, in addition to 5 master's students and 6 doctoral students in the Department of Performing Arts.
The dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, conducted an inspection tour to follow up the progress of the exams, accompanied by the Supervising Committee and the heads of scientific departments. During the visit, the Dean was briefed on the nature of the exam questions and their compatibility with the curricula taught to the students, and it was also verified that the needs of the students were met while performing the exams.
This inspection tour aims to follow up the progress of the examination process and facilitate the procedures for students, in order to ensure the application of the quality standards that the college adheres to, and in line with the directives of the Ministry of higher education and scientific research in providing an educational environment that supports students ' aspirations and contributes to improving their academic results.
The dean of the College stressed the importance of these inspection tours in ensuring the smooth flow of the examination process, and working to overcome any obstacles that students may face during the examination period, within the framework of the college's keenness to provide the best level of education in all academic disciplines.
