Under the kind patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad Kazim, and under the direct supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra organized a scientific visit to the Samari Art Hall, located in the area of karma Ali – gate of the marshes, with the participation of a number of professors of the department and students of the second stage – painting branch in the morning study within the Department of plastic arts.
During the visit, the students got acquainted with a variety of paintings and artworks displayed in the hall, which were characterized by multiple artistic techniques and styles, including modern and contemporary art. The Hall also included a collection of sculptural and ceramic pieces that reflect the creative diversity in the plastic arts.
The visit also included acquaintance with the features of the impressionistic environmental heritage of the city, and its rich cultural and environmental heritage. The supervisors stressed the importance of these visits in enhancing students ' artistic understanding and raising the level of their visual perception through direct contact with works of art and various creative experiences.
