Dr. Tahrir Ali, a lecturer at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra, participated in the plastic arts festival held in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
The festival, which brought together more than ten Arab countries and five foreign countries, witnessed the organization of various events, including a scientific academic lecture given by Dr. Tahrir Ali, which dealt with specialized technical topics reflecting his academic and artistic experience.
Dr. Tahrir's participation was also marked by the painting of three paintings that embodied the environment and the local heritage of the city of Basra, highlighting the cultural and artistic specificity of the region. At the end of the event, he was honored with the festival shield and a certificate of thanks and appreciation, in addition to being honored by the Bahrain Society for Contemporary Art in recognition of his outstanding contribution to this International Art Forum.
