Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra, participated in the Central Conference marked "Popular Mobilization - history, struggle and sacrifices", which was embraced by the Faculty of Arts at the University of Mosul, where he highlighted the heroic roles and grave sacrifices made by the Popular Mobilization, in addition to reviewing the historical stages that he went through.

The conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency the minister of higher education and scientific research, Dr. Naim al-Aboudi, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, president of Mosul University, and in cooperation with the prime minister's Office / permanent National Committee for community awareness and guidance, and the Popular Mobilization Authority / Directorate General of Education.

The conference was organized with the participation of the colleges of fine and Applied Arts in Iraq, hosted by the University of Mosul during the period from February 19 to 20, 2025. The conference aims to provide a specialized academic and research platform to discuss the March of the Popular Mobilization, its role in defending the homeland, and the sacrifices it has made at various historical stages.
