Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhannad Jawad al-Asadi, president of the University of Basra, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abdul Zahra Mohammed, dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Continuing Education Division at the College organized a specialized scientific seminar on the student discipline law and the promotion of ethical values on campus.
The seminar aimed at raising students ' awareness of the laws and regulations of university discipline, and promoting the concepts of good academic behavior, in a way that contributes to establishing a university environment based on mutual respect between students and their professors, and enhancing the spirit of responsibility within the academic community.
The seminar, which was presented by a group of specialists, witnessed a detailed presentation of the materials of the student discipline law, while discussing the applied aspects of it and its role in promoting discipline and ethical behavior on campus. The seminar also included interactive dialogues and interventions from students on the mechanisms of activating ethical values in university life, and ways to achieve an educational environment based on respect and cooperation.
