Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts meets the teachers of the Department of plastic arts to discuss ways to develop the Department

As part of his tireless efforts to improve the academic and artistic reality, professor Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar, dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, met with the teachers of the Department of plastic arts, accompanied by the head of the department, Dr. Muhannad Abdullah, to discuss the important issues facing the department and work to find effective solutions that contribute to the development of the educational and artistic process.
During the meeting, the dean stressed his keenness to remove all obstacles to the progress of academic and technical work in the Department, stressing the importance of adopting a new strategy aimed at enhancing the quality of art education, supporting creativity and academic research, in line with the latest developments in the field of plastic arts.
Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar also listened to the opinions and suggestions of the teachers, pointing out the need to achieve an integrated educational environment that allows professors and students to present their best creativity and excellence. He stressed that the Deanship of the college continues to support the department in various ways, whether through the provision of modern teaching supplies or through the development of curricula in line with the requirements of the artistic and cultural market.
This meeting comes as part of a series of meetings aimed at rearranging priorities within the college and setting a clear vision that contributes to achieving a qualitative leap in academic and artistic performance, so that the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra remains one of the main pillars in supporting and developing the art scene in Iraq.
