Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Mohannad Jawad al-Asadi, and under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Nasser Samari Jaafar, the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the Faculty of Fine Arts organized a dialogue session entitled "Reality, challenges and solutions to follow up students struggling academically".
The session aims to discuss the most prominent academic and psychological challenges facing struggling students, highlight the mechanisms of early diagnosis, as well as review a range of supportive solutions and procedures that contribute to the development of their study skills and improve educational achievement levels.
The session, presented by teacher Dr. Nozha Ahmed Jabbar, stressed the importance of developing periodic follow-up plans, activating the academic guidance system, and providing a supportive environment that helps students overcome the causes of stumbling, which contributes to improving educational outcomes and reducing academic stumbling cases.
