A master's thesis at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra examined installation images in the art of mass surrealism.
The message presented by the researcher Azhar Hikmat Mahmoud included mass surrealism, one of the artistic trends of the post-modern period, which bears in large part a link to mass surrealism that has not been studied and extensive research.

The thesis aims to arrive at how to achieve the installation process in the images of mass surrealism and to show the cognitive and structural foundations of the image and how to perceive it visually and mentally and the extent of the impact of imagination in the process of producing the mentally complex image.
The mass surrealist message produced video works that contributed to creating an animated synthetic image that was able to introduce the recipient into a virtual reality environment that surpasses reality.
