As part of the (Tamkeen) initiative to support creative students, the Art Education Department at the College of Fine Arts held an artistic ceremony to honor the top students in the department for the academic year 2020-2021, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, and a group of students’ families and the department’s teachers.
The ceremony, which was attended by Dr. Hussein Al-Eidani, the head of the Academics Syndicate in Basra, Dr. Hazem Abdul Majeed, the administrative assistant, and Dr. Zain Al-Abidin Jassim, the head of the department, included several paragraphs, including a chant for the students of the department entitled (My Teacher) and a play under the title (Determination) directed by the student (Emad Sattar) and the students’ representation ِAdhraa Saad, Sajjad Abdul-Kazim, Muqtada Abdul-Aali, Taqi al-Din Ali, Mahmoud) in cooperation with the storyteller and novelist (Rida al-Asadi) and students (Ahmed and Rashad).
