Within the “Tamkeen” project for talent development, the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra held an artistic carnival to support the talented within the youth empowerment and capacity development project.
More than 50 young men and women of different age groups participated in the carnival, which was held under the patronage of the President of Basra University, Prof. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, in cooperation with the Shanasheel team, where various artistic productions that were accomplished by the hands of talented youth were presented. Hammadi said that Basra University is supportive of young people who have talent by being open to    society, providing job opportunities for them and supporting their own capabilities

For his part, the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, confirmed that the college, within its humanitarian project (Tamkeen), receives and supports all talents to develop their abilities. Al-Kinani added that the college is fully prepared to establish youth activities and provide what is necessary for its success, as well as marketing the products of youth within the framework of eliminating unemployment. and providing job opportunities.
