The University of Basra organized an orientation and awareness symposium for the employees of the College of Fine Arts. It included the seminar held by the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Fine Arts and presented by Mr. Rahim Hatem, during which he explained the concept of civil defense, firefighting, ignition and the use of fire extinguishers and the following types (foam, powder, CO2)
The symposium discussed how to deal with extinguishing fires in homes, departments, laboratories and cars
The symposium aims to spread awareness by explaining all practical and scientific means, providing advice related to fire and extinguishing, and clarifying the quality of extinguishing means and the important differences between them and how to treat and manage important situations in fires and their treatment.
