The workshop, which was organized by the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Fine Arts, included a lecture delivered by Professor Dr.
The workshop discussed the elements of theatrical performance, represented by decoration, lighting, actors, and costumes. Among the elements of make-up, which was the focus of this workshop, is one of the complementary elements and has importance, as the art of make-up determines the age and social status of the theatrical character and also on the situation and through which we determine the character, whether it is a clown or a pantomime actor or Good or bad character.
The aim of the workshop was to introduce students in detail about the art of theatrical make-up to benefit from it in their studies and in their theatrical projects in the future, as well as to clarify the actor’s face on stage, given that theatrical make-up effectively illustrates the details of the actor’s face and expressions.
