The College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, held a training course on life skills, a sport for development
The course, which was held by the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Fine Arts, included a scientific and applied lecture held by the GIZ team of the Directorate of Youth and Sports in Basrah.
The theoretical lecture, which was held in the Continuing Education Hall, dealt with the nature of cooperation between members of society in employment and what it requires of positive communication between individuals.
The course also discussed the leadership role of the individual responsible for the team or the functional staff and teaching him the skill to make the right decision
The goal of the development course was to direct the individual towards setting a realistic and achievable goal, and this was done by creating a plan to achieve the goal. This was applied in a practical side at the College of Fine Arts’ stadium by involving students in the task of sports to cooperate and communicate with them in order to achieve the goal of the group’s success.
