The College of Fine Arts, University of Basrah, organized an electronic symposium on the missing link in the history of ancient Iraqi art
The seminar, which was held by the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Fine Arts and presented by Professor Muhammad Jassim Al-Rassam, included his artistic career and shed light on the work of his last exhibition.
The seminar was attended by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, as well as professors, heads of departments and students of the college.
The symposium discussed historical, artistic and literary figures in Iraq and Maysan in particular, which were not shed light on.
The artist, Mohammed Al-Rassam, displayed his sculptural works, both stereoscopic and prominent, documenting a number of symbols that are a witness to local and Iraqi personalities.
The symposium aims to support Iraqi artists who have a clear imprint in the artistic and cultural movement in Iraq and the Arab world.
