The Department of Art Education at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra organized an exhibition of calligraphy and decoration, on Wednesday the eighth of May and at the exhibition hall in the department
  the opening ribbon was cut by the head of the Art Education Department, Dr. Zain Al-Abidin Al-Asadi,

 The exhibition was supervised by Fadel Shehab, a teacher of teaching calligraphy in the department, and the exhibition included artistic works that varied between Kufic and Diwani fonts and the third as some of them were made with charcoal and the other in colors.
