The Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Basra conducted the comprehensive examination for doctoral students in the Department of Performing Arts for the academic year 2025-2026, numbering (9) students, distributed among various scientific disciplines: literature, criticism, acting, and directing.
The exams were performed in a suitable academic atmosphere, and direct field follow-up from the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Professor Dr. Nasser Samari Jafar, and in the presence of the Scientific Assistant, as well as members of the exam committee supervising the comprehensive exam.
This step comes within the framework of the continuous keenness of the Deanship of the faculty and the head of the department to complete the requirements of scientific sobriety, and to ensure the application of academic quality standards in evaluating the results of graduate students, in preparation for their transition to the stage of preparing their theses.
