The College of Fine Arts at Basra University organized a comprehensive art exhibition to celebrate its 52nd anniversary with the participation of a group of students from the scientific departments.

 The exhibition was opened by the esteemed President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Sajid Hassan Al-Nur.

The exhibition included a group of artworks that varied from ceramics, sculpture, oil paintings, collages, Arabic calligraphy, in addition to scientific productions, costumes, works of folklore heritage and antique collections.

   The exhibition aims to support the youth segment to highlight their talents and potentials. For his part, Al-Nur stressed the need to develop the capacity of the creative student and honor him because he represents the conscious and productive segment through his artistic and scientific works.

It is noteworthy that, from outside the faculty, the Shan Shell technical team participated in (20) artistic paintings that were shown in the corridors of the college based on the principle of cooperation between the university and the community
