Under the supervision and support of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, and within the Women Empowerment Program adopted by the Deanship of the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basrah
An art exhibition entitled (Empowering women is a strength for society) was held on the occasion of the birth of the friend Lady Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, and attended by the Administrative Assistant to the Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Hazem Abdel-Majid, the Head of the Art Education Department, Prof. Zain El-Abidin Jassim, the Head of the Plastic Arts Department, Prof. Asma Samir, and a group of professors Students of the College of Fine Arts
The joint exhibition held by the Departments of Art Education and Fine Arts included more than fifty artworks representing women in all their forms of suffering, patience, strength, beauty and work.

It is worth mentioning that the exhibition was dedicated only to female students and faculty, with the participation of artist Rasha Youssef from the Translation Department.
For his part, Al-Kinani expressed the importance of the exhibition, which is an important and supportive activity for women, and choosing this blessed occasion to hold it as an annual context. the society .
