The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra has officially obtained the International Quality Certificate (ISO 9001) from the British International Business Development Organization for Standardization (BGDS) as part of the college’s endeavor to develop and improve performance.
Thus, our college has become among the scientific institutions that seek to implement international quality standards and raise the level of performance.
And the college's obtaining the ISO 9001 certificate makes all international institutions to deal with the college, its professors and its graduates with a high level of confidence.
Accordingly, the quality mark will be placed on the website, official communication pages, all scientific and administrative transactions, and technical and scientific productions.One of the advantages of this certificate is the quality system that provides a vision that becomes appreciated by external parties: because it guarantees the institution that it is proceeding towards achieving its goals on sound foundations, and this is respected by any external party, no doubt.
The quality system contains the foundations of continuous improvement: as it includes quality objectives and strategic objectives that the institution aspires to, and also includes the means to activate and implement these objectives that drive continuous improvement, which is a basic requirement of ISO 9001.
The presence of the ISO certificate is evidence that the college follows the international principles in maintaining the application of the international quality system, which enhances confidence in its scientific and knowledge output.
