The Department of Performing Arts at the College of Fine Arts at Basra University organized a symposium on (The New Theater and its Creative Peculiarities) on Monday 28/1/2019 at the College's Central Theater Hall 00 in the presence of a group of professors and graduate and undergraduate students from the Theater Department.

The symposium included a lecture given by Prof. Dr. (Aqeel Mahdi Youssef)

During which he dealt with determining the level and composition of the theatrical performance with its new activities according to aesthetic and creative standards that move away from the familiar fragments.

The symposium discussed the new start of the text and its transformation into an abstract value that has its own characteristics in the elements of the theatrical presentation

She showed the importance of the symposium 00 for postgraduate and elementary studies students, as it is an addition that tries to enhance their knowledge of the new theater that the world has reached, in terms of intellectual interpretation, contemporary technologies and their peculiarity in the new theatrical presentation
