The work represents a woman standing in Arab attire and a bull sits in front of her ..
The work is abstract in it abbreviation of many details while preserving the general shape and it proposes the theme of the duality of male and female. As a sign of submission in front of the female who wears the cloak as an expression of her Arab identity, copper plates were also used in a technical manner in which the sublimation of this material is shown in a way that gives an aesthetic value through the bright golden color and taking advantage of the light reflections on its surfaces.
It is a new experience for the artist in using it as it deviates from the stereotypical use of traditional materials .. This work was participated in the annual teaching exhibition of the Plastic Arts Department at the College of Fine Arts / University of Basra
