The Department of Performing Arts at the College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra concluded the cultural season program with a work shop. The workshop included (6) scenes with an opening scene and a closing scene.
The workshop was supervised by the subject teacher, Dr. Hazem Abdel-Majeed, with the training assistant, Dr. Hassan Abdel-Razzaq, and the dance instructor, Ghaith Abdel-Kazim.
Abdul Majeed said the aim of holding the workshop (for first-stage students) is to develop the student's capabilities and prepare him for the next specialized stages.
The teacher added, "We sought, through the exercises until the presentation of the show, the existence of an excellent elite of first-stage students who can activate the aesthetic and artistic side to produce a distinct theatrical work."
The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Dr. Ali Abdul-Hussein Al-Hamdani, with a group of professors and students of the department
