Under the auspices of Professor Dr. Saad Shaheen, President of Basra University, and under the direct supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani
The Department of Art Education, in cooperation with the Department of Fine Arts and the Department of Musical Arts, held an art festival on the Shatt Al-Arab Corniche as part of the initiatives supporting the Gulf Championship 25. The festival included various artistic activities such as free drawing, drawing on children’s faces, traditional musical pieces, handicrafts, and visual heritage clothing.
The festival witnessed the presence of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, the Head of the Department of Art Education, Professor Dr. Salah Nema, and a number of professors of the College of Fine Arts.
