The Department of Art Education of the College of Fine Arts organized a special visit to the orphanage in Basra Governorate. The visit included a group of artistic and educational activities as follows:

1- A lecture by Assistant Professor Dr. Saif El-Din Abdel-Wadood entitled Student behaviors between the positives and negatives.

2- A workshop for teaching the art of drawing animal figures for the teacher Ammar Sabah.

3- Presenting theatrical performances by first-stage students and under the supervision of the teacher, Dr. Abdul Latif Hashem, with two performances, the play “The Deposed Lion” and the play “The Smurfs”.

4- The students of the first stage of the C division present a group of gifts to the orphans in the home.

The visit was welcomed by the house’s management and by the inmates, who interacted with the visit with love and appreciation
