Under the auspices of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and the support of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani, and within the mission of the College of Fine Arts to open up to society and build bridges of cooperation.
The College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, received the students of Washq Al-Madaen Private School. Abdul Halim Ahmed and Mr. Ali Hashem, where activities and definitions of the department and the machines used were presented, and questions about the talents of the students were presented, then a visit to the Department of Audio and Visual Arts, where they were received by the head of the department, Eng. Ayman Kazem and Prof. Dr. Qusai Abdel Abbas, where the latter gave an introductory lecture on the department Dr. Wasfi Faleh shared the experience of direct drawing with the students, sharing with them the drawing, revealing the talents of the students, as it was a special experience for them, and their tour continued to include the sculpture department in the plastic arts department, and the students participated in some experiences.
The College of Fine Arts at the University of Basra continues to receive all institutions and talented students from the governorate's schools to develop and support talents and build bridges of cooperation for all segments of society.
