
The Continuing Education Unit at the College of Fine Arts at Basra University held a workshop on Medieval Arts in Italy / field study
The workshop in which the teacher Qais Issa lectured, in the presence of a group of teachers, included introducing the features of the Italian plastic arts, such as sculpture, and drawing through the researcher's survey of their monuments.
The workshop aims to emphasize the technical characteristics and techniques and the content of the aesthetic discourse in that era, beginning a historical summary of the beginnings of the arts in Italy and its intellectual and artistic references
The workshop came out with several recommendations, including the necessity for researchers and students to inform researchers and students of these features to serve their vision and refine their artistic taste, while simulating these achievements because they inspire students in how to invest the elements of plastic arts in their graduation projects
