The Division of Continuing Education at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, in cooperation with the Audio-Visual Department, held an in-person symposium entitled (Cinematic Narration and its Implications for Social Reality). The symposium, which was moderated by Dr. Alia Jabbar Sahim and the submission of m. Dr . Alaa Hatem Mohsen presented a definition of narration in terms of language and terminology, as well as clarifying the components, forms and types of narration, as well as the types of plot in the narrative text, with an explanation of the difference between the narrative body and the narrative structure.
