The Division of Continuing Education at the College of Fine Arts, University of Basra, in cooperation with the legal unit in the college, held an in-person symposium entitled (State Employees Discipline Law No. 14 of 1991 as amended). The symposium, which was moderated by Dr. Alia Jabbar Suhem and the presentation of the senior manager, Khadija Shukri Faisal, and the jurist, Ali Mahdi, who explained the civil service law, the methods of appointment, the employee’s obligations with the duties entrusted to him, the employee’s attendance, types of penalties and their effects on the employee, and their impact on the bonus and promotion.
