The College of Fine Arts holds an exhibition (Talented Fingers Embracing the College of Arts) to gather young experiences of plastic art

Under the auspices of the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani.
Today, Monday, 8-5-2023, the College of Fine Arts held the seventh exhibition to gather young experiences of plastic art, entitled (Talented Fingers Embracing the College of Arts). The exhibition, which was held in the major exhibition hall in the college, included more than 60 artworks distributed to 13 talented participants, all of which were executed with charcoal and lead.
This exhibition is among dozens of exhibitions in which the College of Arts seeks to support talents and creators and encourage young people to invest talent and market it properly for community participation and support creativity in the visual community. Ali Al-Quraishi, the head of the Young Artists’ Plastic Experiences Association, thanked the Deanship of the College of Fine Arts for being supportive and always racing to embrace such activities that aim to encourage and market talent and cultivate a spirit of competition among team members by providing the best. At the end of the exhibition, Al-Quraishi was keen to honor Mr. Dean A.M. Dr. Ali Abdel-Kinani and the scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Tahrir Ali Hussein, with appreciation shields for their continuous support and the success of the exhibition and its hosting.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Sheikh Ali Al-Sharifi, representative of the Popular Mobilization Authority in Basra, and Sheikh Malik Al-Shuwaili, accompanied by the Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kinani. The exhibition was attended by the scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Tahrir Ali Hussein, and the head of the audio-visual arts department, teacher Ayman Kazem, and a group of professors and employees. and students of the College of Fine Arts.
