Under the patronage of the president of the University of Basra A.Dr. Saad Shahin Hammadi, under the supervision of the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, A.M.Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani.
The Department of plastic arts at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra, held on Tuesday, 23-5-2023, the annual comprehensive exhibition of ceramics specialization for professors and students of the Department for the academic year 2022-2023, in the Great Exhibition Hall at the college.
The exhibition included 146 works of art of aesthetic and expressive diversity, including murals and sculptures distributed to the works of Department professors and graduate students, as well as students of the fourth stage – graduation projects under the supervision of A.Dr. Ali Hussein Alwan and M.Ahmed Abdel Munshid and the follow-up of the furnaces of Professor Hamid Ahmed Al-Shaheen.
The exhibition was opened by the dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts A.M.Dr. Ali Abdullah al-Kanani accompanied by Scientific Assistant A.Dr. Tahrir Ali and administrative assistant M.M. Jalal Abdul Sahib and head of the Department of plastic arts M.The exhibition was attended by the director of the Warriors academy Tala Maan and a gathering of professors, staff and students of the Faculty of Fine Arts.
