His doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Basra (cultural context and its reflection in contemporary Arab ceramic sculpture). The thesis presented by the researcher (Rasul Jabr Mohammed Shahib) included the topic of the impact of the cultural context and its reflection on life, and that this relationship will indicate the development of ceramics and its presence or not in the joints of the culture of the Arab and international recipient.
The thesis discussed the presence of artistic ceramics and its role in the Arab culture and the impact of production methods in receiving it.
The thesis aims to achieve a benefit in higher education and pedagogy and can be considered an artistic reference from which the Arab intellectual can get.
The thesis concluded that the study revealed the idea of being inspired by the tragic event and came as a pressing single in the Contemporary Arab personal culture, which the media contributed to its consolidation and mass continuation.
